The 2024 Energy Efficiency Policy Forum will convene experts and leaders from across government, industry, and advocacy to assess the current landscape of federal energy efficiency policies, explore ways to strengthen and expand these efforts, and discuss how to address potential challenges ahead.
The summit will feature presentations on local energy initiatives, policy updates, and opportunities for collaboration. Participants will engage in meaningful discussions about strategies to enhance energy efficiency in their communities and help the commonwealth achieve its 2050 emission reduction goals.
Attendees will hear about multiple methods for setting GHG goals within energy efficiency programs, the various methods utilities can use to translate energy savings into GHG reductions, and what motivations, policies, targets, and equity considerations go into such a transition.
