For nearly two decades, ACEEE has published the State Energy Efficiency Scorecard, scoring and ranking states on policies and programs that save energy, lower costs, and produce environmental and economic benefits. The scorecard provides detailed information across six policy areas for all 50 states and the District of Columbia: utility programs, transportation, buildings, state government-led initiatives, industrial energy efficiency, and appliance standards.
Join us to learn how states stacked up in the 2025 edition, highlights of where states have made progress over the last two years, and where they still have room to improve. Attendees will hear from both ACEEE staff who authored the Scorecard and state leaders on some of the most impactful new policies they were able to implement since the last edition.
