In April 2024, the EPA awarded $14 billion to three applicants under the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund’s National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF). One of the applicants was Power Forward Communities, a coalition led by Enterprise Community Partners, Rewiring America, Habitat for Humanity International, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), and United Way Worldwide. They were awarded $2 billion to decarbonize homes across the U.S. In this Monthly, our guest Aimee Witteman from Rewiring America will talk about the award and what the coalition is planning to do.
