Agenda (60 min):
• Welcome & intro (5 min)
• Research presentation (25 min)
• Interactive discussion (30 min)
Join researchers from Boston University, University of North Carolina, and Stanford to explore early research findings: national & state data on air pollution from gas furnaces and water heaters.
What we have: PM2.5, NO₂, and ozone pollution from gas heating and associated health impacts (including asthma, hospitalizations, emergency visits, and heart attacks). Data includes national estimates and high-resolution analysis across 10 states (MD, CA, CO, NY, NJ, MA, ME, IL, CT, PA).
This session is interactive—we want your input on what information is most useful, how it should be presented, and how it can support your work.
