Join Resources for the Future (RFF) Wednesday, April 9 for an RFF Webinar, “Global Energy Outlook 2025: Headwinds and Tailwinds in the Energy Transition,” which coincides with the release of the 2025 Global Energy Outlook—RFF’s annual report that synthesizes global energy market projections and analysis from leading energy organizations and corporations.

During the webinar, RFF researchers will detail how the report and accompanying interactive web tool allow for a clear understanding and easy comparison of potential future energy markets, climate trajectories, and policy options at global, regional, and national levels. The webinar will also feature an in-depth panel discussion on the long-term trajectory of the global energy system and how the energy transition has accelerated in recent years, along with challenges such as uncertainty over AI-related demand growth, evolving global LNG markets, the prioritization of energy security, and shifts in US climate policy.
