SUMMARY:Midwest BDC Federal Policy Working Group
DESCRIPTION:The Inflation Reduction Act’s Home Energy Rebate Programs include 8.8 billion dollars for energy efficiency rebates. States have until January 2025 to apply for funding from the national Department of Energy\, and states are required to hold public input hearings to inform their applications. \nOur Federal Policy Working Group created a Talking Points Toolkit and hosted virtual Training Prep Sessions to equip advocates to attend these public input hearings and advocate for accessible and equitable rebate programs. Download the Talking Points below\, and view the recorded training to learn what to expect at a public input session and how to craft an effective comment.
