SUMMARY:Regional Blueprints for America's Clean Energy Future
DESCRIPTION:State initiatives are driving the next wave of renewable energy growth across the United States\, bridging the gap in the absence of consistent federal policy support. \nThe clean energy transition is no longer a top-down mandate; it’s a diverse\, ground-up movement powered by local leaders. Across the country\, regional pioneers are making real-world progress: reshoring clean energy manufacturing\, reshaping regional energy markets\, aggressively modernizing the grid\, and building a new energy workforce. \nIn this free online forum\, we move beyond national talking points to dive deep into regional action. We’ll bring together the experts who are succeeding on the front lines in diverse regions like Southwest\, Southeast\, and Midwest regions. Don’t miss this conversation on regional blueprints for a clean\, resilient energy economy you can start building today.

SUMMARY:First Look: A Preview of the 2026 Enterprise Green Communities Criteria
DESCRIPTION:Over the past 18 months\, we heard extensively from our network as you shared your hopes\, plans\, and priorities for the next edition of Enterprise Green Communities. \nYour insights on the only green building standard created with and for the affordable housing sector helped shape the new criteria and remain invaluable. \nThe 2026 Enterprise Green Communities Criteria focuses on three core priorities: energy efficiency\, resilience\, and health and well-being. The result is a clear\, cost-effective framework for all affordable housing development types. \nThis webinar kicks off a series of events introducing the 2026 Criteria\, deep dives into key sections\, and tools to streamline certification. \nHow we got here: \n\n18 hours of workshops and listening sessions with 250 stakeholders\nHundreds of hours of research\n1\,000-plus public comments\n\nAccess to the 2026 Criteria launches February 19\, 2026. But you’ll get the first look in January. Thank you for helping us reach this affordable housing milestone.

SUMMARY:Healthy Homes First: Principles for Equitable Building Decarbonization Launch!
DESCRIPTION:Everyone deserves a healthy home\, yet that’s not the case for many. Home energy bills are skyrocketing\, indoor and outdoor air pollution from fossil fuels is at an all-time high\, our climate is in chaos\, and communities of color and low-income are facing these threats all at once – but\, we have solutions! \nJoin us on Wednesday\, January 28th at 12 PM for the launch of WE ACT’s Healthy Homes First campaign’s latest resource: “Healthy Homes\, Thriving Communities: Principles for Equitable Building Decarbonization.” Buildings where we live\, work\, and play generate more than 30 percent of greenhouse gas emissions driving the climate crisis\, while pollution from fossil‑fuel appliances like gas stoves and indoor hazards like lead\, mold\, and pests create serious health and safety risks. These burdens fall heaviest on low‑income households and communities of color\, who face the worst impacts of extreme weather\, carry the highest energy costs\, and are too often left out of programs and investments that make homes healthier\, safer\, and more energy‑efficient. \nHear from experts and our strategic partners on these principles and local efforts to advance healthy homes and building decarbonization. Be part of this important conversation!
